Sewer hose holding tube

We have a 34FLR with the square sewer hose holding tube at the end of the FW. How do others hold these end caps onto the square tube. I'm going to attach the cap to the tube with some chain to end the loss of these caps, But, how do I keep them in place during travel?

Thanks

Try the search function for "home-made" solutions. This is what I used before acquiring a round PVC tube holder. Worked just fine for me : RV Bumper Cap - Intersource Enterprises D10-259 - Sewer Fittings - Camping World

drilled a small hole through the top and bottom and drop a thin spike through them. This way they can't come loose and vibrate out.

I did something similar but drilled one hole at the top to fit a bolt that I finger tighten.

I kepy losing them on my old trailer and made a "hinge" out of duct tape -- never lost another one.
the new trialer has caps with a little "nub" top and bottom and a corresponding hole in the bumper. seems to work just fine to hold them in.

My solution was similar drilled hold in top of square tube and put a wood screw into the rubber plug
