Sewer hose support & wye question

For those with 2 grey tanks and use a wye connection, what does a person do for those "slunky" type hose supports. You can't just use say 3 10' slunkies because the slope will be wrong. You *could* I suppose buy a 20' one and cut it in half.

Just wondering what folks do...

I don't use them. So far, the weight of the water has been sufficient to make it thru the sewer hose to the hole- even when the hole was elevated.

We were at one site last year and the pipe inlet on the ground was really high compared to the TT outlet. I spent a lot of time with the slinkies getting the slope right so the pipe would drain. It was almost horizontal.

I agree, most times just laying on the ground will suffice.

Don't mess with wyes, plumbed the rear tank into the front 2 and use one hose and lay it on the ground regardless of slope. What little is left in the hose is always grey water and unhooking at the trailer and lifting the hose drains it and then I rinse it with my sewer only Pocket hose.

I had the same problem using three sewer hoses and a wye. I finally figured out it's best to connect the wye directly to the CG sewer and use one hose for each tank connected to the wye. Much easier to then use my hose supports to get the fall I need.

This is how I do it (minus the hose supports). I connect my wye at the sewer connection and run hoses to each sewer outlet. It's more hose this way (than bring the hoses together at the camper via the wye and then just one hose to the hole in the ground. But, it works for me.

Great idea. I do the same thing with a commercially made white plastic half-tube that slides out to the length I need. Also in 3 sections. I think it's about 10 feet when fully extended. As you do, I use the leveling blocks to support it at the necessary angle. I like the rain gutter idea and will probably try that if my current one wears out.

Same here although occasionally I use a 5ft piece prior to the "Y". Rotating "Y" Sewer Connection - Valterra F02-2030 - Sewer Fittings & Adapters - Camping World
This is the type I use. I have 3-10ft sections and 3-5ft sections of hose so I can connect both no matter where the sewer drain in the ground is located.

I'm fortunate in that the two outlets are only 18" apart.

I use a Rhino Wye, and cut a 5' extension down to the 18" required. No sag, and I can leave both the gray water valves open. Close them a day before dumping.

I had a similar problem at Myrtle Beach last year with the CG sewer hookups being so far out of the ground and having two different drain locations. So I went to Lowes and got 3 sections of plastic gutter and used my Lynx Levelers and hose support to make a stand for the gutters. That gave me enough height to get over the top of the sewer inlet. After rigging this up, the next day four more campers around us had done the same thing. Here are a few pics.

This worked really well and I could drain anytime I needed to.

You are more than welcome! I built this to carry the gutters that I got from Lowe's(only Lowe's). They are 5" PVC posts that are 8 foot long(perfect length) with the caps. 8" x3/8 bolts drilled into the flange of the frame and held on by nylon locking nuts. The tubing you see underneath is just 1" square aluminum tubing. Takes all of an hour to put them on and I now carry my sewer stuff in there.
