Shower not good

Needless to say the shower in our 2015 Wind Jammer is not much better than a trickle. Only used it twice before winterizing. Have been told to get a Oxygenics one. However found this when taking hose off and tried prying it out but it is either glued in or part of the valve. Anyone drill these out if it won't pry out?

Hi,
I drilled mine out to double the hole size but the "cap" broke loose while drilling. I did not break the threads so I continued to use the faucet.
The hole size did make a difference but not by much. The board swears by the Oxygenics heads but I have not purchased one myself.
The OEM shower handle shut off seems to need to be somewhat in the middle to get the most pressure on mine.

Buy one, they are all what other members report them to be. Add an in-line shut off at the hose end where your ozygenics connects and problems solved.

Yes, love the Oxygenics shower head, but know in advance that the shut-off still allows water to trickle out. Can't remember if it's to keep from building up too much pressure, or to balance the water temp, but it doesn't bother us at all.

So did any of you take or drill out the restrictor other than crunchman?

On mine (Rockwood 8289ws), the "restrictor" is a separate piece from the threaded fitting, and pops right out. I can see in the above picture that this one is slightly different than mine, but still looks like it may be a separate piece (slightly different color)?

On our last 2 trips I did have a low pressure/flow problem. The first time I just assumed it was the campgrounds supply, but when it happened again I investigated and tried removing the restrictor. It did help. I still plan on the Oxygenics.

The trickle after shutoff at the valve is to compensate the startup temperature when activated. This information is posted in the website of Oxygenics.

Shower

We have a 2014 Columbus 370F and the water pressure in the shower is very low. Could that fitting be the culprit in our shower too?

The shower in my old surveyor was never better than a trickle. I swapped in an Oxygenics with the included push-button water cutoff valve. It was awesome. It was the first thing I replaced in my brand new V-Lite.
