Shower sewer oder.

Just for info.
We keep smelling sewer oder coming from our shower drain.
I figured there was no trap installed so l took off panel under shower and noticed a funny looking thing in the drain line. It was a Hepvo trap.
So l took it off and found the bladder inside had been reversed. I pocked it back inplace installed and problem was solved.
Also while under the shower l noticed a slight leak around drain collar.
Took it apart, cleaned and resealed.
Had l not found this there would have been serious damage to floor under shower.
We have a Coachman Chapperal 390 it.

Those traps are fairly new to the RV industry and not a lot of people know about them.

The best thing about them is you don't have to remember to winterize them.

The RV mfg's like them because they don't have to install a dedicated vent for the fixture, so it saves them a little time and space.
