I just added the little one 2 weeks ago. Since I wasn't sure about what it really could accomplish, I just got the small one.

It does make the water flow more consistent, and will give us a flush and quick hand wash without the pump kicking on. The initial "blast" of pressured water does wonders on the flush.

Next year, I may get the 2 gallon one if I can find a deal. I see these things ranging from $150-$200 a pop.

In our setup, I did want to quiet the thing down, so I remounted it and wrapped it in bed foam. Cut the sound down by half.

IMO not worth the trouble of trying to find a place for it at least for us. Also when we have to use the onboard water I shut the pump off at night anyway and you can get a couple flushs out of it assuming you just go pee.

As a Health Care Worker, I can't go without a comment. For those gentlemen making nocturnal trips to the bathroom, please visit your Doctor for a prostate examination. Two fold reasoning in this case. Peace of mind for your health and a better nights sleep for your significant other and/or canine members of the family.

* Sorry for the Thread hijack, but I thought a medical bulletin could fit in any thread.

Like the others, my standard size ShurFlo tank works, but a bigger tank would work better.

A couple modifications in our Georgetown.

This is what I used. Standard 2 gallon Water Heater Expansion Tank available at HD or Lowes or any Plumbing Supply House. Fortunately I got mine for free, just had to buy the CPVC materials.

Hey Borwick, how much PSI did you put in ?

Always confused with that one ?

I know it's suppose to be 2-3 lbs less than the pump setting... but am not sure of my pump setting. I know this affects perfromance.
