Silverback 29RE water tank issue

I filled my water tank to 2/3 full recently by putting the water hose in the freshwater connection and turning the selector knob to gravity feed. I used up the fresh water until the leds read 1/3. I then connected the hose back to the freshwater connection, turned the connector back to city water, and know the holding tank is still slowly filling. I can't hear the water filling the tank though. Is something broke or is there some sort of reset that I am missing. I am currently living in this thing in an rv park. Having to constantly shut off the water supply is getting old fast. Am I missing a step?

Welcome to the forum!

I guess the FW tank eventually fills and runs out the it just a trickle or much more. You've tried switching the diverter valve on/off to see if it slows or stops?

You may have to replace the diverter valve...don't know if they're serviceable.

Look at the diagram on the wall in the docking station. Turn the valve for the fresh water tank to the closed position.

We have a 2014 BlueRidge. We are having similiar problems. When city water is on, the fresh water tank fills even though valve is not directed to fresh water holding tank. We keep an eye on the tank level & switch to using water pump til the tank level is reduced. We took the RV to a ForestRiver dealer to fix. They replaced the fresh fill intake valve, this did not solve the problem. Any one else having this problem? What's the fix. Don't want to haul a full fresh tank.
