Stinky toilet

On the past three camping trips, we have had a horrible odor coming from the toilet. We have a 2012 Sabre fifth wheel 32BHOK. Any suggestions? We always flush the tank and add chemicals. HELP!!!

Check and see if you if you have a Dometic 300 series toilet. Label is behind foot flush. If so it's the toilet holding nasty water inside the bowl. Call Dometic and they will ship out a replacement really quick and there is a long thread in the plumbing section in general repairs and tech about this. Check out "tanks odors in bathroom."

Do a search on the geo method on the forums here. Havent had any toilet odors since I've been doing this method.

I have a Dometic 310 toilet. When you sit on it sewage water leaks out.

If its really a 310, it sounds like the bolts holding it to the floor were not tightened properly or they left out the gasket at the floor.

There was a thread last week about the 310. Like Chewie said, it's a known problem and Dometic has been sending out replacements.

You are right. I stand corrected.
