We ran down the runway for quite awhile. The Single Point Refueling (SPR) manifold was destroyed and JP-8 was running all over the landing gear.
That we did not burn up the aircraft is beyond me. All those pads behind the tire was to soak up the leaking gas.
The fire trucks were foaming us down while we were still moving on the runway. The FD at Martinsburg were "Awesome."
Everyone was fine. It was a perfect landing on centerline.
The pilot (take a bow) kept it right where it needed to be and was the last one out of the plane.
