Had same problem this summer, turned out to be a bad "on/off" switch, I understand that they go bad about every 5 yrs. or so. Cost of switch, about $3.50. View u-tub on replacing.

The electric wires are shorting out or the ground is touching piece metal. Check the wiring for burnt casing

If you can buy an offset screwdriver, one that ratchets might be helpful.

Found this in my Unit

I found this in my unit by Flagstaff commonly Asked Question:

Water Heater:

The switch for the 110V/ campsite power is located in the water heater access door (on the outside of the unit) towards the bottom of the left hand side. Pull the pin in the switch to turn the power on ( DO NOT TURN ON THE 110V POWER WITHOUT WATE IN THE WATER HEATER TANK). The Automatic ignition (DSI) switch is located on the control panel inside the unit.

Don 't know if this will help or not.

I had a 23lb also and the high limit switch quit and I had to replace it. Take the cover off of it and in plug power and ohm it out.
