Suburban Water Heater

I have a SW6DE Suburban water heater. On the side it says model 5034. I can't seem to find that model anywhere. Are these hot water heaters interchangeable with other models like 5058A etc. What is the difference. I would like to replace mine if I can. Thanks

I can't help with the interchangeability but I'm wondering why you are wanting to Change it. Is it the capacity or something else? I "believe" all models are interchangeable in regards to size. Are your looking for a larger model? Jerry

I think I am having a problem with my Hot Water temperature. I have had the Rockwood for three seasons now. Late last year we experienced problems with the water heater. Brought it back to dealer for check up and all they did was hit the reset buttons and the unit (Gas) came on. Always worked on Electric. While away this past week the Gas would work intermittently. While testing it the gas stayed on so long the Pressure Relief Valve started to leak. I shut it down and worked off of Electric the rest of the week.
Any idea what the Temperature should read on both the Electric and the Gas?
TIA
Jack
