Suburban Water Heater

I have a Suburban water heater on a 2016 Flagstaff Super Lite Classic. I've winterized the travel trailer and pulled the anode on the water heater to drain it. I set the by-pass and released pressure before draining but I noticed that there was about an inch of water still left in the bottom of the heater. I suppose I could use a syphon to get the rest out but my question is will it hurt to leave an inch or so of water in the bottom?

Likely won't hurt but since the Suburban is a steel tank and depends on the anode rod submerged in water to slow corrosion to the tank lining, I've always inserted a small hose and siphoned the last remaining bit out.

A little water in the bottom of tank is OK.
I remove anode, let the tank drain then re-insert the rod finger tight.
I have being leaving the last bit of water in the tank for eons and never had a problem here in the great white north where temps get down to -40 at times.

With room for expansion, a little water won't hurt.
