SV 264 Water Filter change

Do the housings on the water filters tighten to the left or right? I am trying to remove it to change the filter and does not seem to be giving in either direction. I do not want to break anything doing this so any advice on the subject is welcomed.

There should have been a plastic "wrench" for the water filter that came with your trailer.
