Well, we haven't used the fresh water tank and periodically check the levels just in case, but we didn't specifically check after the leak yet. Good thought, though.

Well, with only one line to the toilet and only 2 ways to get water to the toilet, 1 via city connection and 1 via on board water pump and with the city water connection eliminated, logic tells you there is only 1 way left. THE WATER PUMP.

OC's statement about a joke reminded me of when I was much younger I would sometimes add a bit of water to my neighbors rain gauge that was attached to our common fence. Not sure if he ever figured it out but he did move the gauge, guess he did figure it out.

If you and a buddy use the same storage and you both have like trailers and there is a possibility that his keys are like yours, does he like practical jokes?

If there is no pressure in the system then by water should not be able to transfer from the HW tank to the toilet. The water would have to be under pressure in order to move unless the WH was higher then the toilet. Just because there is a foot valve the inlet is at the top of the toilet.
