Tank heaters

We haven't had these nice gadgets on previous TT's. Tank heating pads, that is. My question is how well do they work and will they keep the water from freezing at the dump valves.

They work great, is the short answer.

They are 12 volt so they will work on battery, but pull some juice so you best be plugged in when using them.

They cycle on and off as needed to keep the LIQUID in the tank at a safe, no freezing, temperature. NEVER use them on a dry tank as they will run all the time and not cycle as designed; shortening their life.

If you have exposed elbows, there should be a pad there to keep the liquid in the fitting warm enough not to freeze.
