Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. First are you sure you are using the fw fill and not the city water connection. If your hose screws into the connection it is the city water and not the fw. Look for a cap that removes to reveal a fill tube that you have to hold the water hose to (no screw on connection) Let the forum know what you find even if its silly that is how we all learn.

Connect your hose and turn on the water. Go inside and turn on one of your faucets. If water flows out and the water pump is off, you've got the hose connected to your city water.

do you know what model your trailer is? or can you post a pic of the hose connections? that would help people with an answer. Unfortunately, my only screw in hose connections are city water and black tank flush, my fresh is a hose insert as noted above- so I'm not sure where else to tell you to look.

Do you hear water flowing into the trailer? The fills should be marked with a label on the TT. One should be fresh water fill and one city water. Note you may also have a screw on connection for a black tank flush labeled.

Suggest you add your TV and TT model to your sig line. It will assist in answering questions such as this.
