Hi Everyone,

I’m having a problem with my fresh water tank sensor. It shows FULL when in fact it’s EMPTY as can be. Can anyone assist me with help on this? 2018 Sonoma TT. Thank you.

You have no problem very normal reading . what's it show when 1/3 full ? mine has always show full when empty and then accurate reading once it has water in it .

Hi Mr. M

Thank you for the reply....What I have noticed is that it does not change at all. It says full even when I know we have been using water through out the trips. So I’m not sure what is going on.

RV Tank sensors are relatively easy to troubleshoot.

Here is the troubleshooting manual for the most common type. The indicator inside your unit might differ as to the display, but the mechanics are most likely what you have.

A signal wire from the Fresh water tank may be shorted to ground. This may happen if the wire has broken and is touching the frame of the camper.
