Thetford Style II toilet problems

This toilet is in my 2012 Cherokee and the camper is permanently parked and sometimes when the weather is bad the electric at the campgrounds will go out which shuts down the Well pumps from the campgrounds so then no water . Well my toilet will let water drip into the toilet until it fills and over flows and Thetford says its a low pressure problem and their valves are good from 40-100 lbs. of water pressure so has anyone else had this problem?

Water Pressure

Sounds as though you leave your water pressure turned on while you are gone away. We have the same type set up, but we usually turn the water off whenever we leave after the weekend. Have not had any problems with ours in either camper:

No the water is turned off until each weekend but when the campgrounds well goes down there is no water pressure and my toilet seems to let low pressure water n without stepping on the foot valve.

Low Water

Think a new valve would solve the problem? Contact Thetford and let them make a suggestion for you. Working on the plumbing again today, darn hard pvc lines:

I had contacted Thetford and they said their valves are guarenteed down to 40lbs and a lower pressure could seep thru or syphin thru the water line coming from the Well but that not good if ur asleep and the Well goes go down so they said to put a shut off on it which sounds pretty STUPID.

Shut off Valve

I had considered doing that, might not be a bad idea if the valve continues to seep water:
