Three drain valves on 317rl

I am new to this forum and have a new 317rl. First 5th wheel. My hookup panel has left to right, wastewater(one word), black label, white trim; sewer water, black label, white trim, and waste water (two words)' black label, no trim. The sewer is black water. Are the other two perhaps shower and galley, I. E. Two gray water tanks.

Most likely one gray water is kitchen one is bathroom gray water best way to check is poor a few gallons down and see what valve dose what

Welcome to the Forest River Forum.

It helps to mention what brand fifth wheel you have along with the model number. Forest River currently has over 30 fifth wheel brands on the market.

I would imagine the valves are as you mentioned, Black tank, shower tank, and galley tank.

It certainly sounds like you have two grey water tanks. What they do and how they are hooked up will depend on the model. In my case, one tank is for the outside galley, and the other is for the bathroom and inside galley. I have seen others that have all the sinks on one tanks, and the shower on another (I wish mone was this way). Looking at your floorplan, I am guessing the galley is hooked up to one, and the bath is hooked to the other.

The thread title has 317RL and a Google search shows only Wildcat that seems to have that designator. It looks like this is your floorplan:


Given the spacing difference between the kitchen and shower AND that the specs indicate 100 gallons for the gray water capacity- it all adds up that you have 2 gray tanks.

The 317RL does indeed have 2 gray tanks split between galley and shower.
