Toilet Flange

I had to repair the floor in the bathroom. The repair raised the floor about 1/2 inch. My question is does the toilet flange want to be flush with the new floor?
Thanks for your help, Paul

Use the oversized wax ring such as this.
Shop Fluidmaster Jumbo Reinforced with Bolts Toilet Wax Ring at Lowes.com

RV toilets us sponge gaskets due to the vibration and movement of the whole assembly. Don't think a wax ring will work, but it might.
