Toilet leaks sporadically

Hi all.
My Thetford toilet in our 2012 Coachman Encounter 36KS leaks about 2 cups of water every 1 to 2 months. Sounds strange, but has this happened to any one?
Any ideas why this happens?
I check the fittings when I see water on the floor, but all seem dry.

Internal flush valve may be the culprit! Not much can be done but replace. Do you have a external shutoff valve at the toilet? Most don't. You might want to install in case of emergency.
