Yeah yoo, maybe he has a Bidet! No need for the age old discussion of which toilet tissue to use.

I have the same problem but I do use a pressure regulator. Noticed it when camping in Florida over spring break. Thought about doing what herk7769 has done but haven't had a chance to see what size I would need to get. I guess this weekend I will look at seeing if I can bend the deflector.

You mean about adding the 1/2 inch Sharkbite ball valve?

Or the "Bidet" mod? Repairing a Thetford Aqua Magic V

That was one of my favorite repairs. We use the spray attachment to fill the bowl when needed and wash down afterwards. The concentrated spray makes short work of the job and uses WAY less water when dry camping.

We had the same problem as the OP last weekend. We do have a pressure regulator.

I did find that if I held the pedal part way down I got splashing. But if I pushed it all the way down I didn't...

Just my observation.

Ball valve. I thought that would be a way to lower the pressure to the toilet.

Herk, is that ball valve you installed where you don't need a tool? I see where you had a tool to cut Pex but that looks like all.

Yep. Sharkbite fittings just push on.
Just cut the pipe square with the shear.
