Troubleshooting water pump blowing fuse

The inline 10amp water pump began blowing fuse on our last trip. This initially happened when pumping water repeatedly during dishwashing. (Fuse was hidden in the back of the control panel and not easy to access.) Only used water pump to flush toilet on last three days of trip (no fuse blown). Need some recommendations on steps to resolve why the pump is blowing fuses.

1. can the fuse blow if hot water outlet is (partially) blocked due to sludge. (motor stalled) Assume the pressure switch should shut off pump motor.
2. Inlet filter and lines have no blockage.

Instead of an answer, I have a few questions. When you say that the pump worked fine the last 3 days when flushing the toilet...does that mean that it ran, quickly built up pressure and then shut off? It's just when the pump runs continually for some length of time that the fuse blows? Does the pump run hot when running continuously?

The pump worked fine when only using toilet (quickly pressurized lines). The pump was cold (no thermal overload) when fuse blew. The hot water tap in kitchen seemed to have better flow when testing it during last three days. Only had three 10amp fuses so didn't try testing much longer than 30secs. Will the fuse blow if motor stalled or is the pressure switch the safe guard.

Other than checking all wiring connections including at the DC power center, I don't know what else to suggest other than carrying some 10A fuses for spares.

Thanks for your support. Normally leave the pump on and let "demand" turn it on when pressure drops. This trip was first for the year and didn't flush hot water tank so may have pushed white residue into hot water lines. Need to do some more checking of wiring as suggested. Next trip will use site with both water and electrical to avoid using pump. Enjoy the remainder of the camping season.
