Upgrading water heater

Currently have a Suburban 6 gallon electric/lp dsi. Is the 10 gallon a direct swap or do I just settle for what I have.

To swap from a 6 gal to a 10 or 12 gallon model you'll have to enlarge the opening and they're longer.

Have you considered installing a tankless model? A few people have installed them on the outside of their RV's.

big job and you may have structural issues if you go bigger that you have to cut through???
we just switched our Sub 6 gallon LP only out for a LP /Electric unit.
Easy Peasy. there was bracing off the sides of my old tank so not sure about a 10 gallon unit.

Ya. That's what I though. I'll just stick with the 6 gallon. Not really keen on hacking away at a brand new unit.
