Zoeneens, I am starting to realize what your problem might be. You said you did a lot of research before buying your home which is a Park Model trailer, that it has a generously sized black tank and the gage on the monitor panel shows 1/4 full (those gages are not very accurate btw.), plus you used the toilet for only a few days.
As far as I know gray and black water tanks are an option for most Park Model trailers and in your case the black water tank might not be directly under the toilet.
So, when you first tried to clear the blockade you probably hit an obstacle a short distance below your toilet, that's where an elbow was installed and from there the pipe continuous to your black water tank. If that's the case you could try an ordinary toilet plunger to clear the pipe or if this doesn't work you need to get a sewer snake or someone who can do it for you. If that's the case the plunger would be my first tool of choice and then the sewer snake or toilet auger (Walmart, Home Depot, etc.) and once it starts to open up water is your best friend.
This is still guesswork, but a strong possibility.

Had a similar problem on one of our Rv's. The "down tube" that connects the toilet bowl to the black water tank extends into the black water tank several inches. The blockage occurs when you put several flushes of "solids" into the black water tank with little or no water in the black tank. It is exasperated by using too little of water during the flush to essentially "float/wash" the solids away from the "down tube". The solids mound and coupled with the toilet paper, clog the down pipe where it is close to the bottom of the tank and the water in the pipe backs up into the bowl.
Here's how you deal with it.
1) turn off the water to the toilet.
2) get a stout, long (3'-4') rod/snake
3) breakup the mass that's clogging the down pipe (up/down and side to side motion).
4) take a garden hose WITH a spray nozzle, point it directly down the down tube ( be sure to wrap an old towel/cloth around the hose when it enters the bottom of the toilet as it was splash or perhaps want to back up a bit before it breaks loose.
5) Once the clog is broke loose, fill the black tank with the hose/spray nozzle until it reads about 2/3rd or 3/4 qtr's.
6) Let it soak a few hours and then dump by pulling the outside valve.
7) be sure to put 2-3 gal of fresh water in your toilet each time you dump to clean the system and then close the outside valve, add 3-4 gal of water to your black tank. Now it's ready to use as the solids will float away from the down tube. Don't skimp on the flushing process either!
Best of luck. Feel free to send my a private message if you need any assistance.

Used wrong TP....toilet blocked.
Great!! This sounds promising! Now, shutting off the water to the toilet. That would be to shut off the pump to the entire unit? With the initial paper clog I was able to reach down pretty far and the pipe bends to the left. I WILL do this rv life successfully...even if it kills me!

Bits of broken down toilet paper comes up....just a little. This has a swirl water action. Can't see too far in.

Our seasonal site is water and electric only - honey wagon weekly as you need you pay and they pump greys and black - usually when you are not there so tank flush not an option but we do backwash ours when we arrive so it helps cleans sensors and add some water at the same time
Have not had any issues in the 12 summers there....

Yes, you can turn off the water to the entire RV or if there is a valve behind the toilet, you can just shut it off. Probably, if the pipe bends a bit, a tape/ sewer tape should be used to break up the clog!

You can buy a "sewer tape/snake" at most hardware stored. They come in different sizes, get a small one. Explain what you want to do, they will help you select the correct size.

I would think all you would need is a plumbing snake to clear the lines.

I checked the site 3 times and each time it showed $111.99 plus shipping. I just checked the site again and it was $CND 9 or 19 - forgot which.
Got to be a typo.

WOOHOOO! Did you get some Angel Soft TP while there at WalMart? Much cheaper than the stuff that sold as RV approved.

Sorry, couldn't reply sooner but sometimes life gets in the way.
Interesting, so the link displays a different price based on location, that is creepy.

Just checked the Amazon link - $CND 19.99 now.
I never saw two different locations either.

I am sooo happy for you.
One final question, does this mean together we can move mountains?

We try not to put TP in our system. Have a small waste basket with trash bag in it for TP. One it prevents filling up the tank to soon and less problems.
