Valve filling the fresh water tank

This is on my 2010 silverback 29RE. The plastic handle cracked on the square part that changes the water into the camper or the fresh water tank.

Was wondering if anyone knew where to get another valve?

If just the handle is cracked why replace the whole valve?

I would think Home Depot or Lowes would have something to fit the valve you have.

The valve is got hard to turn. Have been thinking maybe a little penetrating oil and make my own handle out of something.

Was hoping the part would not be a whole lot but if it is it will justify my time in fixing.

Thanks for the replies. Got the right size handle on the second try. Had to file one ear off on the handle and open the hole in plastic for clearance.

PB Blaster will eat thru the black undercoat on a side note. Another thing to play with later.

I ordered one off of Amazon, $65 including shipping (search B&B Molded Diverter Valve DVF-1-A).
However, seems as though Forest River should be aware that they are an issue and go back to the old style that worked... separate recepticles for city water and for holding tank. My valve has failed twice, both times it continually fills the fresh water holding tank... very annoying!!! I also have a Cedar Creek Silverback 29RE 5er (2014)!

All I found were all plastic. The one that came on it was metal. Considering I use camper year round and had trouble with the plastic black tank flush cracking is why I choose to use the metal handle. After opening and closing the valve it's loosened back up and not sticking.

Not sure about the newer ones still being metal or not. The problem I would guess be in the handle. Who knows mine might break tomorrow. Murphy's law.

Good luck. Hope u enjoy your camper like I do mine.
