Vent on Roof

I have a 2008 Cardinal 30LE RK. All of the plumbing vents on the roof need to be replaced, you just have to touch them and they fall apart. While doing the job there is a vent in the back of the trailer almost 12 inches from the rear of the camper near the center. When I pulled it off there was no pipe coming up there was rubber roof material going across where the pipe should be. Then I noticed there was a patch of dicor. So I pulled that up and there was a slit about 3 inches long, I looked into the slit and there was a hole cut where a pipe should be I looked further into the hole and I could see insulation. Anyone know what this is for?

I did put dicor over the slit and put a new vent where the old one was. Just to keep it water tight.

Could be an engineering goof as to where the vents were goint to be. How many other vents were there? Should have been 2 others one for black and one for grey tanks.

There are 4 I replaced the black and grey in the center of the camper. There is another vent in the very front of the unit. I have not gotten to that one yet. I do have two grey tanks so that might be for that but it is really far in the front. Thanks for the reply

It's either an access point to mount a sat dish on the roof (any coax cables in there?)...or it's an attic vent.

I'm betting attic vent (shouldn't have Dicor though...)

If/when you open the other one furthest forward and it matches this other one you will know for certain.

I did not see any cables, looked pretty well. I hope to get to the front one in a couple of weeks. Just a strange one!
