Very little water pressure in toilet

Hello.

I've got a 2015 Flagstaff 26ft 5th wheel. For some reason I have little water pressure in the toilet. It comes out extremely slow if at all when you flush. The rest of the trailer has plenty of water pressure. Any suggestions?

Turn water off, disconnect water line to toilet. Check filter screens at water valve. They are probably plugged with "trash" from water supply.

Are you referring to the blue line with black connector? I pulled that off and didn't see any filter screens and water flows through it pretty good. I could for the life of me figure out how to get the other(white hose) off.

He is talking about the blue hose, but the filter is in the back of the white unit which it is attached. I have to clean mine at least twice a year due to trash from a bad hot water diode disintegrating.

You shouldn't have to remove the white hose but if you decide to, it is a band clamp and you'll need to cut it or pry open with pliers. But you shouldn't have to.

You will probably need to remove the toilet valve from the toilet to see the problem screen and you do that by depressing the tabs on the top and bottom. (Small rectangular holes) The valve will slide out towards the rear. The screen is back inside a bit and you can use some low pressure compressed air or simply clean with a small brush in a cup of water.

Be sure to remove ALL water pressure in the plumbing system before starting.

Very little water flow in toilet

Have had similar issues. Removed toilet valve and cleaned small orfice. Micro stone or other debris. After I had done this several times over the course of a few months, I recently added a water filter outside at the city water inlet. Only used it once so far, so good. Doubt it has much to do with your hot water tank as toilet is only cold water plumbed. Maybe scale buildup from fresh water tank.

The crud that clogs the faucets and toilet does actually come from the WH. The crud generated by the elements in the water and the anode rod settle to the bottom of the water tank. If you then open the low point drains to drain the water lines, water from the WH flows back through the cold water line to the low point drain. Some of the crud is pulled into the cold water line but may not make it out the drain. The next time the lines are charged, that crud is pushed along to the faucets and toilet valve where it causes a problem.

Maybe a little off subject,,, but whenever I flush the water system I first flush thru the outside shower lines with the shower head removed !!! I believe this help keep the crud out of the aerators & filter screens !!!

And that's why anytime I open my low point drains (without pressure on the system) I close the bypass valves on the water heater.

Potty flush

I turn on the pump and get a pressure help. It made a difference.
It flushes with vigor now. Give it a try.

Thank you for your advice. I took it today, when I replaced the toilet valve.
