Waste tank valve broken

so last night I was empting out my grey water tank for my kitchen on my forest river wildcat 2009 travel trailer. I was pulling on the t handle valve to open the valve up, which was pretty hard to get to open. then as I was closing it back up when I pushed on it, the rod broke off in half. apparently it had been broken when I got it and someone ghetto welded it together, So not I am stuck with about 2 inched of the rod with no handle sticking out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to upgrade, or fix it, or even replace it? I have tried to look and find replacement but have not been successful.

did you try your local RV supply store ??

thought most were common sized ??
