Mine is under the vanity in the bathroom right next to the 12 volt fresh water pump. They have a piece of paneling screwed to the floor that I have to remove to get access to the pump, filter and the valve to switch from pulling water from fresh water tank to the pulling anti-freeze from the outside inlet connection. Likely totally different on your fifth wheel.

I own a 2014 Windjammer 3029 W and mine is under the left sink in the bathroom, next to the pump. When I purchased a new Jayco previous to Windjammer they installed it under the galley sink and attached to the cold water supply going to the sink. So I had filtered water only at the sink. I have used mine only one season however I double filtered by using an external blue filter when attached to a hose. Tried to preserve the K1 and I removed the K1 before adding AF this winter. Drained it and let it freeze so no bacteria would grow, then reinstalled it 3 weeks ago. So far, so good. I will change it next season and continue to double filter with the Camco external blue in line; replaced new every season, those are inexpensive and seem to hold up for at least one season for me.

Bought our Windjammer last year only used it for a two week trip, then it had to go back to forest river to replace the entire left side wall due to a cracked above the bedroom slide out. So we didn't get to use it much. I took out the filter and let it dry when I winterized. I just last week re-installed it. It still looks new. Wish I knew about the freezing. Should be OK I hope? Maybe I should run a little bleach through the system?

Decided that I wouldn't take a chance on the filter house unscrewing. Made a temporary fix for now out of wood. I need to get to the Yard Store and get a piece of aluminum plate and mill one out with a pivot point that will attach to a piece of aluminum "U" channel that will be permanently fixed to the wall.

Ok. I found the water filter housing. It was right where all you guys said. Near the pump and city water connection. It was accessible in the pass thru storage compartment. Had to remove 3 small screws and off came this small panel. Which I will eventually replace with a set of hinges and latch. Thanks everyone for all the guidance.
