Water filter location in Flagstaff 2015 832IKBS

We were told that the water Pur filter was in the bathroom cabinet under the sink however the cabinet is screwed shut? Don't understand that rational. If that is truly the location, why have to unscrew it every time to change a filter? If we decide to bypass this on this new TT, how do you mod it for the outside so that if there were ever a leak, it would leak outside?

We have something that holds us together. Something that made us better. Something called being a Friend.

It's very possible it's screwed shut.
My flagstaff filter was behind a door that was screwed shut under a wardrobe vanity.

Same here on our Rockwood8289...one more reason to remove it. Can you imagine if it starts to leak as many have reported...some of them the canister drops and it gushes water. By the time you get your tools and loosen the hinges a few more gallons of water would run.
I removed ours and just put a piece of pex tubing in its place with some Shark bites. Just do a search....there are tons of posts about it, especially in the last week or so. We now just use a simple blue torpedo filter from Walmart, attached directly to the outside water tap and if leaks, it's only leaking outside!
