Gary Baecker of RV Specalities is a AWESOME person to deal with (he and his wife are at the FROG INternational Rally every year) but, if you are not going you can get their filters on their web site here:
G & L RV Specialties

Filters are here: Water Softener/Filter

We drilled a well 590 feet up in Maine. Only about 60 feet of casing because it was almost all through shale. They had to go that deep for the flow. When they finally hit a good vein of water, we were getting more than 20 gal. a minute... that was as fast as they could pump. Water so cold you could crack your teeth!

Ours is only 97 feet,,, very hard !!! It has stained the concrete near the Garage !!!
Thankfully the guy that I knew that I had install our Water Softener,,, knew I liked to keep our vehicles clean,,, and put a soft water spigot in the Garage,,, It is Great for filling our FW tank in our MH !!!

This portable is a great option. Along with the Camco KDF filters takes care of just about everything. Water tastes good, like water, LOL and no sediment. Showers and dishes clean with no water spots etc. Also comes with calcium and lime scale cleaner/preventer to keep your pipes and fixtures from clogging up.

I am VERY THANKFUL that I am able to fill FW tank with filtered Soft Water !!!
I would suggest to anyone with an RV & a Water Softener that they run a Soft Water line to there Garage !!! Or somewhere outside !!!
It is also GREAT for washing RVs - Cars & Trucks !!!
May even be cheaper that using water softener filters ???
Of course here we must use frost free spigots !!!

Or you can have a setup like ours: 1 Sed filter, 1 .5 micron carbon, through a water softener and then through a whole house filter in the wet bay (just because it's there )
