Water flowing from anti freeze inlet port.

Why do I have water flowing out my anti freeze inlet. Nothing changed from last year. No previous problems.

There’s a valve to selects between drawing from the fresh water tank OR an antifreeze bottle. You have it in the wrong position or it has failed. IMHO

If you are on city water, I'd suspect the check valve in the pump is leaking back through and instead of it filling your fresh tank, you have your winterization valve still selected and it's coming out that port.

If you are on city water, are you using a pressure regulator?

Have you read any of the many, many threads on how to reset the pump's check valve?

If not let us know and it can be explained again.

If on city water, to try to reseat check valve, run pump for a few seconds. Many times that will reseal the valve and no more leak backs. Also your winterizing valve is still in winter position otherwise the water would go into the tank.

I'm not using the water tank. I'm hooked up at a friend's house to the city water port. I have never used the fresh water holding tank or the pump.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Turning on the pump for 2 seconds reset the check valve and problem solved.

I'll ask again... are you using a pressure regulator on the city water supply? Do you know the pressure available at the connection?

Sometimes, too high pressure can overcome a perfectly working check valve in the pump.

Also, one final thing... since you still have the winterizing valve set for the antifreeze port and not the fresh tank, if this happens again and you can't get it to reset, simply screw an inexpensive garden hose shutoff (less than a $1) into the antifreeze port and turn the shutoff, off. It will get you through your trip until you can either fix the check valve in the pump or add an inline check.

Yes, I am using a pressure regulator on the water inlet.
Thanks for the shut off idea for a temporary fix to the check valve problem.

That's a GREAT idea!! (Hope I can remember it if I ever need it! )
