water heater conversion

I need to replace my propane fired water heater and I am thinking of replacing it with a g/e model. Is this worth the effort or am I headed down a rocky path. I know I will have to run electric to the unit and also wire a switch. Is there anything else to keep in mind? I own a very basic Cherokee Grey Wolf 28BH. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I just put the Lightning Rod in mine and really like it.. It works fine on it's own or you can use both ... If I had to replace the whole unit I would definitely get the G/E model..
