Water heater element on a 2014 Coachman Catalina

Does anyone know how to change the water heater element on a 2014 Coachman Catalina? It keeps tripping my electrical breaker when ever I plug something into an outlet. Thank you in advance.

From your input. the breaker only "pops" when the WH is turned on to electricity?
Most of the time a WH element doesn't short out, it burns the element open which would not cause a breaker to "pop".

It kinda depends on how the element sheathing pops, etc. as to how it shorts. It can do weird things.

If you have the Suburban brand water heater, KyDan has a post we keep in the FAQ section on this.

Suburban water heater electric element R&R

Also this thread may help on the operation of a Suburban water heater so you possibly don't burn up the electric heating element:

You may find that some one replaced the element with a higher watage element. Not good.

This part of your statement has me concerned?
Does it trip the breaker whenever you plug something into any outlet in the RV? If so, what makes you think the water heater element is causing the problem?

If it's just the water heater outlet, what happens if you plug something else into it?

Help clear this up and we can better help you troubleshoot this issue.
