Water Heater Leak.

Hello all. Has anyone dealt with a suburban hot water heater leak? The wife was looking last night and saw water running across the floor. It looks like it is dripping and making its way out through the foam around the tank. The support under the unit was wet. I bypassed the water heater and pulled the anode to drain it. Problem solved until we get home. The spongy floor I mentioned in the past now has an elevated concern. the way things are tucked away hides problems unless you really look. It is an 08 so I'm not sure of the life expectancy. The foam blocks seeing any part of the tank.
