Question Water heater module

Has anyone had problems with the module on there hot water heater? My hot water heater (suburban) won't come on at all 110v or gas I suspect the module that I found laying off to the side of the tank.
I have since checked for power at the module and found none. I'am in the process of tracing the power lead thanks!!!
