Assuming you have a tank type water heater: If you let the propane run all the way out, you may have some air in the line now.

If you have filled the propane cylinder, etc. Let's go thru the steps. Make sure you have your water heaters DSI switch off now.

1. Close the propane cylinders valves all the way, then very slowly open them back up. Slowly. Opening the cylinders too fast can sometimes trip things up. We're going to reset them.

2. Light your stoves burners next if equipped, to help purge the air out of the lines. After they run a bit turn them back off.

3. Turn back on your water heaters DSI switch, and see if it lights up now.

This FAQ may help, and the part about the propane operation sequence applies really to the Suburban and Atwood brands....and whether or not you have an electric option.

When I get to my office, I'm going to move this question and answer to it's own thread.
