Water heater salem cruise lite 195bh

Hello we just purchased our first TT and I am wondering if I should be leaving the hot water heater on all the time or turning it on only when I need hot water and then off again. Thanks in advance

Your welcome have fun!

Btw you can use gas and electric at the same time for faster hot water recovery rates.

Turbo I checked my water heater and I don't think it is electric.I could be wrong but it looks like it might just run off the propane. Would it hurt to turn it off when I am not using the hot water to save the propane and turn it on only when I need it.
