Water Hose

Does anyone have any recommendations for a flexible drinking water hose.

Most of those white ones you see sold everywhere are in fact quite stiff to roll up unless they've been lying in the warm sub all day.

Someone must be making one that is easier to roll up ????

I just bought the Zero-G 1/2"x50'. I am going to hook it up for the first time tomorrow. A lot more compact than a standard water hose.

Yes this one! Well maybe the 5\8" model, but definitely this brand. Super easy to store good quality thus far used all of last season.

Used a Zero G hose all last summer - worked great, light weight, very easy to roll up into a small bundle.

I liked the white roll flat hoses. I bought 3 or 4 of them in 10’ lengths (since the have to be laid out smoothly or they kink). But, all at one shot, they each developed pinhole leaks.

So I switched to cheap hoses. I bought a nice hose from www.rvwaterfilterstore.com.

And then it was too short. So I bought a Zero-G hose and really like it. I only have 30-45 nights with it. We’ll see how it holds up.

Hooked up the Zero-G and our new camper for the first time today and everything worked great. No leaks from hose or plumbing. Here is a picture of the hose rolled up to show how compact it is even a 50 footer.

It's worth mentioning that the "Zero-G RV & Marine Hose" is the only one you want for drinking water, don't use the Zero-G garden hose for drinking water.

Should be a given, but some folks may think a hose is a hose.

I may have to get one of these, currently still rockin' the typical white hose but it's kind of a pain.

I have two hoses from the RV Water Filter Store. Expensive...yes. THE last hose you will ever buy...YES. Unless you damage it somehow it will NEVER go bad or leak.

I had a couple of Camco hoses over the years and gave up on them. They seem to end up leaking at the connections. This year I bought a SmartFlex RV/Marine Hose, 5/8 in. x 25 ft. It seems like a great hose and I enjoy the female connection design. Very easy to get tight. However, the male connection has very shallow threads. and a ring around the heads, (it is shaped like a nut that you can use a wrench with). What happens, is that ring bottoms out against the city water connection before you get a tight seal. I ended up buying one of those 45 degree hose elbows which had a shallow female end that allows the shallow male end of the hose to make a good tight connection. I just hated having to have one more piece of equipment to deal with. If I had it to do over again, I would look for a different hose, which is a shame as I really like the hose otherwise. It just has that one poor design flaw.

I installed brass quick connects on all my hoses and inlets. $7 a piece. No more screwing, cross threading or leaks. Didn't know Zero made RV drinking hose. I'll get one, thanks for the info. Kind of funny though, as growing up as kids, we all drank gallons of water from the old rubber hose hooked up to the spigot. Don't think any of us suffered ill effects.

Zero g for us. Use two 25 footers for the drinking water. 50 footers for the tank flushers. I coil them onto electrical cord reals and they take up little space.

Where has this Zero-G hose been all my camping life!? I just put a 5/8" 50' and 25' in my Amazon cart.

X2 on the brass quick connects. They work great.
