Water issue

Hi, we have a 2016 sunseeker 2400r. We have had a small drip leak next to the step to enter the rv.. After out recent drive we set up and left for the day. Upon out return the leak had gotten worse. I got under the camper and saw what appears to be a drain hose with a twisting drain plug I tighened it and the leak stopped. This AM our water from the public water source stopped. I unhooked the hose and blew it out, then I reattached it and the water started again. Is it odd that this happened? It appeared to be air in the lines. I'm not sure about it and are these two things connected in some way, thanks for any info.

So I assume the hose at the public water source was plugged??? Air in the lines could be normal if it was plugged and you had used some in the camper...and if it was plugged I would not reconnect without a filter and probably would not connect period as its sounds as if the water source is strongly suspect...
