Water leaking from city water connection

Attached marine hose to city water intake. Water is leaking from this point. Water still flows in the trailer. Any ideas? Should i try teflon tape?

I had this problem when I bought my trailer new. I thought I had a bad connection on the side of the trailer but then I got some 90 degree elbows for the water hose connections and that cured the problem.

Some hoses just don't seem to fit right. Make sure you have a hose washer in the city water connection. If still leaking try a different hose or the 90 degree thing tosh99 posted.
