Water off (winterized), but want to use toilet?

Hey Gang,
I am a real newby when it comes to this stuff, just bought my first Forest River, Sunseeker - and the first real trip is coming up...doing a little tailgating in Detroit at the end of November.
The rig has had the water system winterized already - however, tailgating will most definitely require the use of the toilet. I was wondering if there is a way to use the toilet but not have to actually turn on or use the water system?
I was thinking of just using bottled water to pour into the toilet as needed.
Also, should I be turning the Arctic Package on during my trip?

Yes, you can flush the toilet by just pouring water down it. I'd think gallon jugs would work well and let you easily manage how much water goes down.

The concern I'd have (and maybe this is what the Artic Pack does) is the possibility of freezing in the black tank.

Artic pack will prevent the black tank from freezing in all but the coldest weather. The heat pads on the tanks chew up a bit of 12 volt power tho, so you will want to monitor that or kick on the generator..

Pouring water in the commode is fine, but remember to use LOTS of water and empty the tank with lots of water. You can run a hose into the commode from outside when you go to a dumpstation. Tho must avoided the dreaded "poo mountain".

You can pick-up a partable "cassette" toilet at little cost. This will keep you from having to use your system.

We dry camp in cold weather at least once or twice a year.
Eat on paper plates as much as possible. Bring home a few dirty dishes
if necessary.
Buy a blue drinking water jug for tooth brushing and drinking and coffee etc...
Put a couple gallon milk jugs of water in the shower or tub to rinse the
potty each time. With help from a partner you can wash hands with this
milk jug water which is room temp and not bad for that too.

note- we don't poop in our potty we use the CG restrooms for that
so dumping is not an issue with minimal water in the black tank.
Tell the ladies to put the tp in a wastebasket rather than the potty.
Never had a problem with it freezing but
that's gonna depend on your actual low temp and how long it lasts.

Another option is buy a gallon of RV Antifreeze & use it to flush with.
