Water Pressure Problem

Hello,

I have a 2007 CAF362BHLE. I have no water pressure. Almost no water flow at all. I have water coming into water hook up. Hose has no leaks and no blockage. I can find no leaks anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas?

One thing to check is your faucets aerators screens, they may have become clogged over time. Remove and clean, and see if pressure improves.

Wayne, I condensed both of your water pressure posts to your new thread, then did some editing and deleting so that the merged posts make sense.

I agree with frankm, check all of your aerators 1st. Then check your water filter if you have 1. My pressure suffered so bad with the water filter, that I just leave the canister empty now.

I would reverse Chap's checklist.
My money is on a clogged "whole camper" filter although clogged aerators can cause all kinds of headaches.

Now that I think about it, I would check the filter 1st.

I had a damaged check valve at the city water inlet. I had very little water pressure in the TT. If you cannot find then problem with the filter you might want to check the check valve.

It is very unusual for this to be the cause of low pressure when on city water. It would have to stick closed (or partially closed) against some 35-45 PSI of water pressure to do that. (Not saying it was not the cause; just unusual).

Normally the spring or the plastic valve itself breaks due to ice forming in the check valve from improper winterizing (water trapped behind the spring loaded valve). The first symptom is water leaking all over the place from the city water inlet port when you turn on the internal pump. Now THAT will cause low pressure!

I know it is unusual but that was the problem. It was acting as if the check valve was installed backwards.

The cause of the low flow/pressure in mine was the fill/use valve (the one you turn to switch between filling the tank or using city water) it's a plastic valve with a rubber diverter inside 4 tiny little tabs (fingers) that turn the rubber diverter. It's not a full flow valve so flow is already restricted. What happened with mine was the diverter was not turning because the plastic tabs were bending.

This valve is not installed in my camper although it sounds like a cool feature.
