Water pressure suddenly gone

We have a water problem. It was going fine and then yesterday afternoon i turned on the water and it was normal for a second and now just a trickle.
Checked the connection, water is coming in fine.
Checked the screen. That was fine as well.
Turn off the water for a few hrs and i will try the sink, shower, toilet etc. everything just trickels. It will surge on for a second like normal but litterally just a second. Then goes to trickel again.
Help, i do not know where to look. Its almost like we hit a switch or something but we live in the trailer full time. I don't remember hitting any switches.
Help or ideas to try to get water again. Please and Thank you

I assume you are using the city water connection....and not the water tank/water pump?

Are you using a water pressure regulator between the outside city water tap and your trailers inlet? These are known to go bad.

Hi, sortu. Yes we are connected to the house water. It is not "city water" as we are in a well. Pressure in the main house is fine.
No regulator. Just a direct hose connection from the outside spicket to the incoming hose connector.

I would disconnect hose from trailer, removed screen from trailer input supply and check if check valve is dirty or defective or stuck.....

Ok. Hubby pulled the hose off yesterday to see if it was running and if a rock or calcium was cloging but i knkw he didnt pull the little thing out. ( Has the white pin sticking outwards). I am assuming that is the check valve. i will be back after i check. Gotta run to the main house to turn off the hose. Thx

The problem. . . I found the little cap piece on the ground. However i coukd not get the darn hose off do i pulled it out and took it off and looked from the inside. Tapoed a couple times and the white piece came out. I think because the cap popped off it was causing it to hit the connection in the trailer hose, therefore cutting off the water pressure.
Thank You!!
Nowto figure how to get the metal hose connector piece off to put it back in where it belongs.
I have it off right now. Is that ok for the time being? Or will it not work right? Right now we have water.
It is about a hundred degrees out and no shade so i need to wait to try to get it off.
Any suggestions to get it off? When i try to turn the hose, the part it is screwed into turns as well.
How it was. . .

Well water is notorious for clogging the whole house filter in your camper.
Any time the well gets low, fine silt (not normally noticeable) will clog that filter.

Use a throw away "pre-filter" to keep the one in your camper from clogging up.

They are everywhere from Wally World to Camping World.

I put mine on the house/campground faucet to keep crud out of the hose. The regulator goes on between the filter and the hose. Others right before the camper.

The whole house filter "may" be hidden. Once you start using the external filter you can remove the internal one.

Kimberly Ann, I think you are missing a spring from that check valve.

Ohhhh! Yah. Me no see screw around. :/ lol
I guess i need to get a new one. Wondering if it was in wrong. It had the flat part closest to the trailer inside the metal connector. It had the little top on the outside of that same metal connector where the hose connects from the outside for incoming water.
Im not sure how it is suposto be with the screw.

I did a little internet searching. We may already have something on our Forest River Forums about this.......but I did find some pics here on another forum about the fresh water inlet that may help you understand how the check valve goes together.
