Water pump

Third time camping and DW hated my choice in campgrounds so we decided to move and the new one didn't city water. I had never filled to fresh water tank before and during the PDI they said that they don't fill the tank because I will want to sanitize it myself but turned on the water pump to show me it worked.
Well I filled the tank turned on all the faucets then the pump and nothing. I opened the access panel and tried switching some valve positions and nothing. I turned them back to original positions. The pump sounds like it is running and it sounds like a trickle of water is flowing but not seeing it anywhere. The vent gurgled as I added water so I don't think it's time to plugged. Any suggestions?

looks like you didn't finish the post.
you need to post year/make/model of RV you're talking about.

i'm assuming you want to know how to fill the FW tank, so knowing what RV you have is important.

If you have not used the water pump ( FW tank) since it was winterized, the winterization valve could be open. Also it takes quite a bit of time to fill the HW tank if empty so you may need to wait a little longer. If you have been using the RV on city water with no problems, then low point and WH drains should all be OK.

The fresh water drain valve outside works and I turned the valve under the bathroom sink by the water filter and that didn't do anything. Are these winterization valves under the kitchen sink ?

Check the aerators on all the faucets. Debris often clogs them on new RVs.

Is it building pressure, as in, pump runs for a bit (say 30 seconds) and then shuts off? When mine has an airlock it will often hum quietely vs the earth rattling vibration of when it's pumping water.

It runs continuously I let it run about 1 minute before turning it off. The worst part is I don't have cell reception at the campsite or Internet to work on it. I'm currently on a tour and so trying to get leads before we get back.
