Water pump doesn't work
My water pump doesn't work, no light when I turn on switch, no noise from pump. Fuse is good. Any ideas for troubleshooting?

Lighted switches are usually 3 tab switches ==>
1 is + for power FROM the battery, 1 is - to turn on light bulb, 1 is - to run the pump. I suggest pulling the switch from the panel and testing for + from the battery. That MIGHT explain the lack of light and lack of power to pump.

It is not a lighted switch, it has a switch with a square blue light beside it.

Could be a fuse in the main panel inside and/or an inline on the power cord near the pump.

I had same issue this weekend. There is an additional fuse right near the pump. Mine was on the red power line within 6 inches of it in a square fuse box--didn't even know it was there until my father in law (retired electrician) found it.

Please post a pic of this switch. Generally, a switch with a light beside it is the switch for the propane side of a water heater, not a water pump.

Good catch. May be a labeling problem.
Don, have you used the pump in the past?
