Water pump lost its "prime"? Try this.

Long time - no boondock. Need water - pump runs but no water from faucets. Hmmmm….air in line to tank and/or in the pump itself. Open faucet, turn on pump, remove cap from gravity fill, cover vent hole with finger, blow hard into tank. Voila' - water.

I've done that a time or maybe two.
I usually find later the suction line is sucking a small amount of air or the bowl on the suction strainer came loose.

Good for you finding a way to make it work!
