When dewinterizeing our Columbus 320 RS the water pump failed to pull a suction. No problem just unscrew the panel and find the problem but Noooooooo .
I remove the panel in the basement behind the water hook up center but Noooooooo it is not there so I put it back. Then I figured it was behind the panel on the center back wall in the basement.
I then remove that panel and can't believe what I see
but Noooooo pump. I then look around behind the panel that is glued to the aluminum frame work at first I don't see the pump and then I think I see it I think.
also there is wiring and hoses going through the panel.
It then took 1 1/2 hours to remove the pump after I removed the panel with out breaking it. After dealing with striped screws I descover a coil of wire and water lines long enough to move behind the water station were there is plenty of room and easier to get to.
Who is the idiot or idiots that designed it that way.
I will be rebuilding the pump tomarrow and puting it in it's new location.
