Mine does that, but I have a fairly obvious leak in the water bay.

Waiting for Goshen to get it fixed.

I have replaced the pressure valve/switch in these water pumps. Very easy, refer to the owners manual for the pump, buy or order the correct replacement part (inexpensive) and install per the instructions or Google for video's.

X2 the pressure valve/switch

If it is the switch ... when you are hooked up to 'city water pressure' you will be slowly filling your water tank as well.

Mine would "WEEP" and cause the pump to cycle every 2-3 minuets. This was at the rear toilet. The valve seeped and was hard to see. When on city water I never knew it. I would verify the tank level on city water and that might be easier by a long flush, leaving the drain valve(s) open for an extended period, then closing and rechecking again in a day or two. Good luck....

Two overlooked areas are always a small drip at the water heater pressure relief valve and the city water hose connection (check valve )

Water Pump

My 2015 Micro Lite 23FB Does that too.
It was doing about every 15 to 20 minutes.
The last time I pressured up the system I made sure and opened the pressure relief valve on the hot water heater to bleed the air out of the water heater.
The pump still cycles but not as frequently. I am convinced it is either trapped air in the system or a leaky check valve.

If you turn the pump off for several days, does it run for a longer period of time when you turn it on? If so I would say you have a leak and it would be worth your while to find it and fix it before to damages something, like the floor.
Good luck.

Mine worked flawlessly until I was on my home from Virginia and at a potty stop left the pump on. Apparently with it bouncing around and not having the fresh tank full it ran for 1/2 of our 5 hour trip. Now it does the burp thing every minute if we turn it on. Works fine for pressure, just can't leave it on. Going to take it apart as soon as I get done with the tires and axles. Keep you posted on what I find.

If it ran with no water in the tank and has ran "on air" for that period of time it may have cavitated the pump to the point that it is now leaking by through itself. Hope this is not the case but have seen this many times. Cheers

Pump cycles on every two minutes

The pump establishes pressure and holds pressure in the system. The pump itself is a backflow valve. Or should I say anti backflow valve. It sounds like you're a grain of sand in one of the diaphragms and the pump isn't holding pressure. it will only take a small dripping faucet somewhere like everyone has mentioned OR IF NOTHING IS LEAKING OUT, you are simply leaking pressure in the pump.
Suggest you check for leaks if none found, then remove the pump take it apart carefully and clean the sand out of it. Then before you remount the pump you should put a line filter on the intake side. Or do as I did panic and buy a new pump. Then later when you learn how to take a pump apart and clean the sand out of yours, you will have a nice spare pump to carry around with you.

"Tom48"...
You are not alone...
we were packing up our 5th wheel getting ready to head out when I noticed the pump was occasionally cycling , it was the check valve.
The way I confirmed it was when I connected the city water I could hear a slight trickle of water going into the water tank.
I panicked and bought a new pump and now have a rebuilt spare.

On mine the city water ck valve leaks when using water pump tried all except replacing. Went to Lowe's and got a plastic threaded cap that fits the city water intake. Doesn't leak now.

You have a leak somewhere.

Your water system is losing pressure, then the pump kicks back on to build up the pressure again.

I assume you've looked around for water; inside, outside, under. Look at the water heater, both outside and inside. Look carefully at the shower, toilet, and all the faucets.

If you don't see any water anywhere, then the only thing left is the pump itself, It could be leaking internally and loosing pressure.

If your pump is back leaking into the fresh water tank due to a bad water pump check valve (a rubber disk located at the center of Part #2 in the diagram and not shown for clarity), you can save your trip with a stop at Lowes or any hardware store.

Pick up an inline check valve and install it on the water pump (whichever direction the flow is based on the fitting's threads). You may need a union (F-F) to match it up in the right direction. You want the water to only flow from the tank to the camper; not the other direction.

When you get home, connect to a city water source and try to back flush the pump to clear it; if that fails to fix it, you can repair the valve body or replace the pump.

Put a water pressure gauge in line to check for leak

Mine cycles often as well, but it can sit for hours with it off and when you turn on the sink, water flows until pressure is gone. This is from the bathroom sink which is the highest point of the water system. so, this talk has me wondering: If there was a leak, would not all pressure be lost over time? How do you find a leak behind all of the panels and under the floor to the various appliances? Over time, especially at a camp site or several weeks and camp sites, would water finally drip onto to the pad due to too much water leaking? Any feed back would be appreciated, thanks.
