Water pump/water heater support

Hi,

I haven't had my 2007 Forest River Shamrock 19' three weeks yet and the silly questions are starting to come out. Here's the third....

While cleaning out moth balls rolling freely throughout the trailer placed there by the previous owner I discovered a small 1.5" x 6" piece of lumber under the bench seat in the space that the water pump and water heater reside. I pulled out the piece of wood as scrap left during the manufacturing but started thinking that maybe it was there to support the water heater or possibly the water pump.

Can any one confirm if there is a requirement for this and if so where it should be placed and I'll return it or burn it if it's not required.

Thanks

Paul
